The Council At Verdure

Verdure | VER•dyoor | noun

The wild, unstoppable green of things that grow through every barrier placed in front of them

The ways in which you’ve grown deep roots in hard ground: overcoming obstacles, holding everything for everyone else, and now — the intention with which you’ll tend to what’s always been yours.

LISTEN.

You can’t separate your nervous system from your muscle tension from your spiraling thoughts.

Here, you don’t have to.

At Verdure, we practice the same way your body works: on more than one level at a time. Because here’s the thing — the reason you’re feeling so run down, on edge, and a little out of your mind all the time isn’t just one reason. It’s layered and nuanced.

We don’t just release the tension in your shoulder and wish you luck — we help you get to the root of it all and find what you actually need to heal, whether that’s targeted care through bodywork, spinal decompression through ELDOA, stress management through Reiki and counseling, or nervous system conditioning through The Society.

LMT, RYT

Hey there, I’m Haley — Licensed massage therapist, fascia expert, certified yoga instructor, mover, thinker, and ELDOA practitioner.

My practice has been shaped by my curiosity about the body’s anatomy and function, and how lived experience shapes our body’s wisdom.

At Verdure, you can find me providing hands-on bodywork or guiding The Practice.

Hi! I’m Carey —a licensed clinical social worker specializing in trauma, anxiety, and life transitions. I've spent decades helping women rebuild their lives in the wake of difficult relationships, and am honored to bring that same work to Verdure.

Whether you're processing something specific or just stuck under the slow weight of perfectionism, people-pleasing, and the very specific torture of "am I doing enough with my life?" I’m here to help with a wide variety of evidence-based tools (like EMDR).

REIKI MASTER, CLIENT EXPERIENCE COORDINATOR

Hi! I’m Crystal — a Reiki practitioner who helps you bring your nervous system back into balance by working with the energy in and around your body to shift what’s stuck.

I blend Reiki practices with EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and sound therapy for a deep, transformative approach to reducing stress and helping you restore your nervous system.

OWNER, LMT, CFBF

Hi! I’m Michelle — the owner of Verdure and a licensed massage therapist with 20+ years of hands-on experience, plus a decade working with trauma survivors in a non-profit capacity that taught me exactly what happens when your body stays in fight-or–flight mode.

My experiences haven’t just changed the way I practice — they’ve shaped my very beliefs about what we’re capable of when we focus on expanding our capacity instead of surface-level “self-care” fixes.

Verdure is growing.

We are currently hiring for a Client Experience Coordinator, a Massage Therapist, and Yoga Instructors.

The Verdure Values

Restoration

The process of bringing your body back to its strongest, most resilient state — without deeming rest a “luxury” or waiting until we’ve “earned it”

Depth

Doing the work properly — with precision and a commitment to understanding what your body and nervous system need to heal

Rebellion

Choosing to tend to your nervous system in a culture that mistakes chronic stress for ambition — and doing it without apology

beyond the bubble bath

A choose your own adventure for the day you're actually having.

Listen. Nobody has time for endless spa days, and I say that as someone who loves a bougie AF massage. Keep the massage. It matters. But the monthly appointment was never the whole plan. What moves the needle is what happens between them, and that's the part nobody teaches you.

Less bubble baths, more biology.

One question. What does your body need right now?
