Verdure Website Terms & Conditions
Oct 13, 2026
1. Acceptance of These Terms
By visiting this website, creating an account, joining The Society at Verdure, booking a service, attending a class, or purchasing anything from us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.
These Terms are an agreement between you and Michelle Bloyd-Fink, LLC dba Verdure Somatic Studio ("Verdure," "we," "us," or "our"), a somatic wellness studio located in Ballwin, Missouri. Verdure was formerly known as Bloom Mind + Body Co., Ballwin.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your information and is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Where you book, pay, or participate through a third-party platform (such as our booking software or our community platform), that platform's own terms also apply to your use of it.
Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, join The Society, or book services on your own. Minors may receive in-person services only with a parent or legal guardian's written consent and, where required, presence.
2. Our Services and What They Are Not
Verdure is a nervous system conditioning studio. Our offerings are organized in three tiers, plus related products and events:
The Society — our paid membership, hosted on Circle, with two tiers: The Society Online and The Society Plus. Includes the on-demand library (The Greenhouse), mini masterclasses, the private community, the #75Nope challenge, the private member podcast, member perks, and in-person Practice sessions as described in Section 5.
The Practice — guided group sessions, in person at the studio and livestreamed, in formats including Breath, ELDOA, Dynamic, Slow Down, Sound, and (from 2027) Aerial, plus Open Practice drop-in time in the group room. Some sessions are led by Council practitioners and some by other facilitators in the Verdure ecosystem.
The Council — 1:1 sessions booked by practitioner and billed by time, including massage therapy and bodywork, CranioSacral Therapy, functional breathwork, ELDOA, Reiki and EFT, sound work, vibroacoustic table sessions, Aeriatsu (from 2027), and counseling with a licensed clinical social worker (in person or virtual). You book the practitioner; the modalities they use are chosen within their scope and training.
Packages and intro offers — including Meet the Council, department Series packages, and the Take Root Intro Offer.
Digital products — including The Hard Nope and other recordings, audio sessions, and courses sold outside the membership.
Events — retreats, workshops, and member events.
Free content — our newsletter, podcast, lead magnets, and social media.
Pricing is all-inclusive; gratuities are neither expected nor accepted. Bodywork and massage therapy sessions are generally HSA/FSA eligible; eligibility is determined by your plan administrator, and we can provide an itemized receipt on request.
Not medical care. Our services are complementary wellness practices. They are not medical diagnosis, treatment, psychotherapy, or a substitute for care from a licensed physician, mental health provider, or other healthcare professional. Nothing on this website or in our content should be read as medical or mental health advice. Always consult your healthcare provider before beginning any new breathwork, movement, or bodywork practice, especially if you are pregnant, have a cardiovascular, respiratory, or neurological condition, have a history of trauma, or take medication that affects your breathing, blood pressure, or nervous system.
Educational content. Articles, newsletters, podcast episodes, recordings, and community posts are for general educational purposes. We draw on scientific research where we can, but individual results vary and we make no promises about outcomes.
Emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Our website, community, and messaging are not monitored for emergencies.
3. Assumption of Risk and Informed Consent
Breathwork, movement, bodywork, aerial, sound, and guided rest practices carry physical and emotional risks. These can include dizziness, lightheadedness, tingling, muscle cramping, changes in heart rate or blood pressure, emotional release, temporary soreness, and, in rare cases, fainting or injury. Aerial hammock work adds risk of falls, strains, and inversion-related effects. Vibroacoustic, sound, and bodywork sessions may be unsuitable for certain conditions, including pregnancy, pacemakers or implanted devices, blood clots, recent surgery, seizure disorders, or acute injury.
By participating in any Verdure service, whether in person, livestreamed, or through a recording, you confirm that:
You have disclosed any health condition, injury, pregnancy, or medication that could affect your participation, and you will update us if that changes.
You are participating voluntarily and are responsible for monitoring your own body. You may slow down, modify, or stop at any time, and we encourage you to.
You accept the risks described above and any others inherent in these practices, to the fullest extent permitted by Missouri law.
When practicing with a recording or livestream, you are responsible for choosing a safe environment. Never practice breathwork while driving, in water, standing near hazards, or in any situation where altered awareness could cause harm.
In-person intake. Before your first in-person session or class, you will complete a separate intake and consent form. That form, together with these Terms, governs your in-person care. Aerial Practice and Aeriatsu sessions require an additional signed aerial waiver before participation.
4. Independent Practitioners
Some services offered at Verdure or through The Council are provided by independent practitioners who are not employees of Verdure. Each independent practitioner is separately licensed, certified, or credentialed as applicable, carries their own professional liability coverage, and is solely responsible for the services they provide, the advice they give, and their compliance with the laws and ethics rules governing their profession.
Verdure provides the space, scheduling, and community platform. Listing a practitioner on our website or in The Council is not an endorsement or guarantee of their services, and Verdure is not responsible for the outcome of any service an independent practitioner provides. Any therapeutic relationship, including counseling or mental health services, is between you and that practitioner alone and is governed by their own intake, consent, and confidentiality agreements.
5. The Society at Verdure (Membership)
Tiers. The Society is offered in two tiers. The Society Online ($45/month) includes full community and library access, one in-person Practice session per month, and member perks. The Society Plus includes everything in Online plus unlimited in-person and livestreamed Practice sessions. Current Plus pricing is $125/month beginning January 1, 2027. Six-month and annual Plus options are offered periodically.
Founding members. Members who joined during the founding window receive 20% off the then-current rate for their tier for as long as their membership remains continuously active. The founding discount is a percentage, not a locked price: when standard rates change, the founding rate changes with them, and the 20% discount continues to apply. The discount ends if the membership lapses or is canceled.
The Society Reservation. From October 10 through December 31, 2026, new members may reserve a Plus membership by placing a card on file. Reservation holders receive full Plus access immediately; the card is not charged until January 1, 2027, when $125/month billing begins automatically. You may cancel at any time before January 1 at no charge. By reserving, you expressly authorize the January 1 charge and the recurring charges that follow.
Intro offers and promotions. We may offer first-month discounts (such as the Take Root Intro Offer), partner codes, or promotional pricing. These are for first-time members only unless we say otherwise, cannot be combined, and convert to the then-current standard rate at renewal.
Billing. Monthly memberships bill automatically on your billing date each month until canceled. Billing is processed through Circle and its payment processor; by joining, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method. Six-month and annual memberships are paid in full up front, are non-refundable, and do not auto-renew without your confirmation.
Cancellation. You may cancel a monthly membership at any time through your Circle account settings or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then. We do not prorate partial months. Memberships cannot be paused.
Refunds. Monthly membership fees are non-refundable once charged.
In-person Practice sessions. Practice sessions are booked through our class scheduling platform. The Online tier's one monthly session resets each billing cycle and does not roll over. Unused sessions have no cash value. Class sizes are limited; booking is first come, first served. Our current policy allows you to cancel a class booking up until the start of class with no penalty; we may introduce a cancellation window or no-show fee with notice as the schedule grows.
Member perks. Active members receive a discount on Council sessions (10% for Online; 15% for Plus from November 2026), guest passes and credits as earned, and members-only events. Perks apply only while your membership is active and cannot be combined with other offers unless we say otherwise.
Rewards, points, and account credit. The Society includes a participation rewards program with points, levels, and rewards (including Verdure account credit, guest passes, and session credits). Points and rewards have no cash value, are non-transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash, and are void if your membership ends. Account credits expire 90 days after they are issued unless we state otherwise. We may change point values, thresholds, rewards, or end the program at any time; points reset at the start of each new season in September. Hard Nope buyers and staff do not participate.
Changes to the membership. The Society is a living program. We may add, change, retire, or reschedule content, spaces, live sessions, class formats, facilitators, and events. These changes are not grounds for a refund.
Termination by us. We may suspend or end a membership for violation of these Terms or the Community Standards in Section 8. If we end a membership for a reason other than your conduct, we will refund any prepaid, unused portion.
6. Council Sessions, The Practice, Packages, Digital Products, and Events
Pricing and payment. All prices are in U.S. dollars and are all-inclusive. Payment is due at booking or at the time of service unless we agree otherwise. Council sessions are booked through Jane; Practice sessions and drop-in passes through Punchpass; memberships through Circle; events and some digital products through Flodesk checkout. We do not store your full card number. You are responsible for any applicable sales tax.
Council sessions. You book a practitioner for a block of time at their hourly rate, pro-rated to the session length. The practitioner chooses which of their modalities and tools to use based on your needs and their scope. Rates and available lengths vary by practitioner and are posted on the booking page. Rates may change with notice; sessions already booked are honored at the booked rate.
Council cancellations and no-shows. Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment. Cancellations inside 24 hours and no-shows are charged 50% of the session price. Arriving late may shorten your session at full price.
The Practice drop-ins. Non-members may attend Practice sessions by purchasing a drop-in pass (currently $25; specialty sessions may be priced differently). Drop-in passes are non-refundable but may be rescheduled to another session. Class bookings may currently be canceled up until class start without penalty; see Section 5.
Packages. Meet the Council, department Series packages, and similar bundles must be used within three months of purchase unless the offer states otherwise. Package sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable. If a package expires with sessions unused, the amount you paid for those sessions is converted to Verdure account credit at the amount paid; any package discount or bundled membership month is forfeited. A package that includes a month of The Society Plus is activated by you through the link we send; the included month does not begin until you activate it, and at the end of that month your membership continues at the rate stated in the offer unless you cancel.
Gift cards and account credit. Gift cards must be redeemed within the period stated on the card. An expired gift card does not lose its value: the unused amount is converted to Verdure account credit at the amount originally paid, usable toward any service; any promotional bonus attached to the card is forfeited. Gift cards and account credit cannot be redeemed for cash, are non-transferable, and are not replaced if lost. Promotional account credit (earned through rewards, referrals, or offers, not purchased) expires 90 days after issue unless we state otherwise.
Digital products. The Hard Nope, recordings, audio sessions, courses, and other downloadable or streamed content are non-refundable once access is granted. Access is for your personal, non-commercial use (Section 7). Where an offer says you keep the content (for example, Hard Nope audio), that access continues for as long as we host it; we will give reasonable notice if we discontinue hosting. Any credit toward membership included with a digital product expires on the date stated in the offer.
Events and retreats. Event and retreat tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred to another person with advance notice. If we cancel an event, you will receive a full refund or a credit at your choice. Early-bird and member pricing apply only when purchased under the stated conditions. Some events may be bundled with a future event at checkout; bundled seats follow the same transfer and cancellation rules.
Partner and affiliate offers. Partner codes (for example, through a partner organization's membership) are limited to the terms of that partnership and may be withdrawn at any time. Where we earn a commission from a product or link we recommend, we will say so.
Chargebacks. Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. We may suspend access to services or the community while a dispute is open.
7. Intellectual Property
What we own. Everything on this website and inside The Society is owned by Verdure or licensed to us: the Verdure name and logo, The Society at Verdure, #75Nope, The Practice, Initiate/Integrate/Internalize, the botanical naming system, written content, guided session scripts and recordings, audio and video, course materials, graphics, photographs, and the look and feel of the site and community. These are protected by U.S. copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Your license. When you purchase content or join The Society, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use that content for your own personal, non-commercial wellbeing. This license ends when your membership or access ends.
What you may not do without our written permission:
Copy, record, screenshot, download (except where we provide a download), or redistribute any session, recording, livestream, or course material
Share your login or let someone else use your membership
Teach, sell, or repackage our methods, scripts, frameworks, or materials as your own, or use them to train others
Use our names or branding in a way that suggests we endorse you
Use any content to build, train, or feed an automated system or AI model
Feedback. If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
8. Community Standards and Member Content
The Society is a private, members-only community. What is shared there stays there.
Your conduct. You agree to:
Keep other members' names, stories, and posts confidential; do not screenshot or share them outside the community
Treat others with respect; no harassment, hate speech, discrimination, threats, or bullying
Not give medical, mental health, or legal advice to other members or present yourself as a practitioner unless you are one of our listed practitioners
Not solicit, advertise, recruit, or promote your own business or products without our permission
Not post content that is unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, or is sexually explicit
Not attempt to access parts of the platform you are not authorized to use
Content you post. You own what you write and share. By posting in the community, you give Verdure a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and moderate that content within the community for as long as it remains posted. We may share the ideas, questions, and reflections members post, in our newsletter, podcast, social media, or other content, but only in anonymized form: no names, usernames, photos, or identifying details. If we ever want to attribute something to you by name, we will ask you first.
Moderation. We may remove content or restrict, suspend, or end your membership at our discretion if we believe you have violated these standards. We are not obligated to monitor the community, and we are not responsible for what other members post.
Not a crisis space. The community is not monitored around the clock and is not a substitute for professional support. If you or another member is in danger, contact 911 or the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
Advisory Crew and affiliates. Some members participate in an Advisory Crew or affiliate program under separate terms. Complimentary memberships or commissions granted under those programs are governed by those terms and may be withdrawn if the member does not meet the program's expectations.
9. Accounts, Security, and Termination
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials private and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You must give us accurate, current information when you create an account or book a service.
We may suspend or close your account, cancel bookings, or refuse service if you violate these Terms, behave in a way that is unsafe or abusive toward our team or other clients, or if we are required to by law. You may close your account at any time by contacting us; closing your account does not cancel an active membership unless you also cancel the membership under Section 5.
Sections 3, 4, 7, 11, and 12 survive termination of your account or these Terms.
10. Third-Party Platforms and Links
We rely on third-party services to run the business, including Circle (community and membership billing), Jane (1:1 booking), Punchpass (class scheduling), Flodesk (email and checkout), ManyChat (social messaging automation), our private podcast host, and their payment processors. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their availability, security, or conduct.
Our website and community may link to outside sites, partners, or affiliate products (including through The Company We Keep). We do not control those sites and do not endorse or take responsibility for their content, products, or practices. Where we earn a commission from a link, we will say so.
11. Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, and Indemnification
Disclaimer of warranties. The website, community, content, and services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the website or community will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any service will produce a particular result.
Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by Missouri law, Verdure, its owner, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, arising out of or related to your use of the website, community, content, or services, even if we were advised of the possibility. Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or (b) $100.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or anything that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Indemnification. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Verdure and its owner, employees, and contractors from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of our content, or content you post in the community.
12. Governing Law, Disputes, Changes, and Contact
Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Dispute resolution. If you have a concern, please contact us first; most issues can be resolved directly. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in St. Louis County, Missouri, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will change, and for material changes affecting active members we will give at least 30 days' notice by email or in the community. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
Entire agreement; severability. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any signed intake or consent forms are the entire agreement between you and Verdure about the website and services. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
No waiver. If we do not enforce a provision, that is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
Contact. Questions about these Terms: Michelle Bloyd-Fink, LLC dba Verdure Somatic Studio, 15480 Clayton Road, Suite 300, Ballwin, MO 63011. Email: hello@verdurestl.com.
